Xeqan (Khagan Hajizada) is an Azerbaijani composer and pianist whose works are rooted in emotion, time, and memory. His music combines classical piano minimalism with ambient and cinematic orchestration, evoking a deep sense of nostalgia and visual storytelling.
Born on October 30, 2002 in Samidxan village, Masalli, Azerbaijan, Xeqan began his musical journey at the age of seven. By twelve, he started formal piano education — completing seven years of training and developing a deep connection between sound and emotion.
At fifteen, he began composing short instrumental pieces inspired by film and visual emotion. While studying economics at university, he transformed his passion into a professional career. His artistic philosophy: music should speak when words fall silent.
In 2024, he released "Həsrət (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)" — 21 piano compositions exploring love, loss, and remembrance. His discography also includes "Three Years" (2023) and singles "Silent Farewell" and "Breathe Again."
