About this release
Rising Tempest is an energetic orchestral composition by Xeqan, driven by sharp rhythms and dynamic staccato lines. Woodwinds, harp, and dramatic strings give it the feeling of a storm gathering from within.
The piece builds through movement and precision. Short, articulated phrases create momentum, while the instrumental colours give the music its dramatic scale. The emotional picture is one of pressure rising, with each section contributing to the gathering force.
Explore Resonating Strings next for a different balance of orchestral expression and waltz movement. For the quieter end of Xeqan’s musical range, Stillness offers a contrasting space of restraint and introspection.
