About this release
Whispers is an instrumental single by Xeqan, built from soft piano melodies, gentle strings, and the graceful movement of a waltz. Its small gestures carry the music: a restrained phrase, a delicate harmony, and the space left around a note.
The piece approaches tenderness and longing as a quiet conversation. The piano offers the melody while the strings surround it with warmth, giving unspoken thoughts a shape without overwhelming their intimacy. Simplicity is part of the expression, rather than an absence of detail.
Whispers belongs to the gentler side of Xeqan’s catalogue. Follow it with Hidden Light for another piano-and-strings waltz, or Silent Farewell for a more sorrowful meeting of piano and violin.
