About this release
Resonating Strings is a dramatic waltz by Xeqan, bringing expressive strings together with woodwind instruments. Graceful melodies and strong harmonies give the piece a sense of passion, tension, and movement.
The conversation between the instrumental groups is central to its character. Strings carry a rich emotional line while the woodwinds add breath and colour, allowing elegance and intensity to move together. The waltz rhythm gives that exchange a continuous shape.
Resonating Strings opens a wider orchestral side of Xeqan’s work. Rising Tempest takes this energy toward sharper rhythms and staccato movement; Hidden Light offers a quieter contrast, with piano and strings at a more intimate scale.
