About this release
Time Flies is a flowing instrumental composition by Xeqan about the movement of passing time. Rhythmic motion and changing textures reflect the way moments can rush past before their meaning becomes clear.
The piece holds speed and reflection together. A phrase can suggest a fleeting second, a heartbeat, or a memory beginning to grow distant. The music gives that movement a shape, allowing attention to rest briefly on something that will not stand still.
For another perspective on time and memory, listen to Once in October. Sunrise offers a lighter sense of forward motion, while Three Years brings a broader collection of Xeqan’s instrumental work into one album.
