About this release
Glances is a personal dedication by Xeqan to someone whose presence continues to inspire his music. Written in a soft waltz rhythm, it captures the emotional weight of a fleeting look: a moment that says more than a conversation.
Expressive piano, subtle strings, and mandolin tremolo give the piece its distinct voice. In Xeqan’s description of the work, the mandolin evokes the wind moving through her hair, while the piano carries feelings that are difficult to put into words.
This image gives Glances a narrative quality without needing a lyric. Continue with Valse of Souls for another personal love story in waltz form, or Once in October for a musical memory shaped by the quiet atmosphere of autumn.
